What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

For my front cover image I felt that the whole picture was perfect but it was a little bit dull and slightly darker than what I wanted so on photo shop I edited the shadowing and also the lighting just to make it slightly lighter which also made my models complexion better and the picture an even higher level of quality. I did all of this on Adobe Photoshop.

For my band photo and my other support artist I took away the background, I did this on photo shop by selecting the areas of the background and deleting them with the magic wand tool so there was no background left at all but only the picture of the main people them selves. For the band photo I felt that the fact that it was a dark image portrayed their type of artist very well so I didn’t do any editing to the lighting or anything else on the picture I just kept it how it was.
However on the photo of Justin, I felt that because it is a close up, it needed more than just the face and shoulders alone so I edited and shadow to come off of the back of him  to give the effect that the photo was taken in a studio or just up against a canvas, I did this on Adobe photoshop and then ever so slightly brightened the photo but made the contrast lower just to get the colour of his skin perfect.
Because of the fact I took all of my photos on a very high quality camera, many of the photos I wanted to use or investigate didn't actually need editing that much but I feel like even the few things that I did do have helped me come to terms with the use of photo shop and I now feel confident that I can use it and knowing what i can do and what each icon does. I found that on you tube there are tutorials of how to do certain things on certain programmes so they are really useful when using Adobe In-design and Adobe Photoshop.
